NMB48 young star Ota Yuri announced her graduation from NMB48 on 4 September 2019 during the “NMB48 LIVE TOUR 2019” concert in Tokyo. As she announced her decision, screams of dismay went through the crowd of fans and many female fans burst into tears. – Ota Yuri explained her decision: “I came to NMB48 at 12, that was seven and a half years ago. It became a place that offered me some kind of protection. I have the feeling of standing still. So I decided to grow big and strong.
