Kasai Tomomi in Musical "Annie"
On 9 December 2020 the cast of the musical “Annie” sponsored by Marumiya Food was presented at a press conference. EX-AKB48 Member Kasai Tomomi will be “Lily St. Regis” the girlfriend of Rooster Hannigan, an egotistical gold digger. She and Rooster pose as Annie’s “parents” to deceive Warbucks to get the $50,000 reward. The musical will be performed at the New National Theatre, Tokyo, from 25 April to 11 May 2020.
