The Face of Nogizaka46 Shiraishi Mai announces Graduation

Founding member of Nogizaka46 and face of the group Shiraishi Mai announced her graduation from Nogizaka at a press conference on 6 January 2020. The upcoming 25th single of Nogizaka46, which will be released on 25 March 2020, will be her last single with Nogizaka46. She decided to leave the group in summer 2019 and announced her final decision at the end of last year to the current Nogizaka46 Captain Akimoto Manatsu as well as Matsumura Sayuri, Ikuta Erika and Takayama Kasumi. An exact time schedule will be announced. Shiraishi Mai wants to concentrate primarily on her solo career after her graduation.
