Review New Year 2020: Hinatazaka46 lets the Kohaku shine
Three years as subgroup Hiragana Keyakizaka46 (short: Hiragana Keyaki) of the Japanese idol group Keyakizaka46, the members of Hiragana Keyaki could only dream of a performance at the prestigious NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen. In spring 2019, Hiragana Keyaki was transformed into an independent idol group Hinatazaka46 and presented a remarkable debut with its first single “Kyun”. The following months were also remarkable and the group played itself with its “Happy Aura” into the hearts of the Japanese audience. On their debut at the 70th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen, Hinatazaka46 let the audience share in their joy of being invited to Kohaku and presented their debut song “Kyun” in a way that did justice to their name.
