Fans remain loyal to AKB48, 57th Single tops Music Charts

The Japanese idol group AKB48 released their 57th single “Shitsuren, Arigatou” on 18 March 2020 and despite unusual concerts and handshake events, AKB48 fans remain loyal to the group and its members and have bought the single 1,150,839 times (ORICON News) resp. 1,397,201 (Billboard Japan) on the first day. The single leads the two charts.
