5th Single from NGT48 on 2nd Place in the ORICON Chart

The Japanese idol group NGT48 released their 5th single “Sherbet Pink” on 22 July 2020. Almost two years after the release of the 4th single “Sekai no Hito e” with scandal, a witch hunt on NGT48 members and extremely limited opportunities for performances and fan events due to the Corona crisis, the group is back in the top 3 of the ORICON Daily Charts with their new single. The single was sold 72,187 times on the first day, reaching number 2 in the ORICON Daily Chart. It was only topped by the single “Navigator” by SixTONES with over 400.000 sold singles.
