New "Documentary of AKB48" Series

Japanese idol group AKB48 will continue their series of documentaries known as “Documentary of AKB48”. Instead of a movie this time a series “AKB48 Documentary Series” will be released. The series with new unreleased footage especially from backstage will be released on AKB48’s own streaming channel “AKB48 Video Archive”. The first episode takes a look behind the scenes of the AKB48 15th Anniversary,  New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day performances. Further, AKB48 Soukantoku Mukaichi Mion talks about the current status of the group and how to cope with the Corona pandemic.
