AKB48 and HELLO KITTY cooperation for 15th Anniversary

Japanese idol group AKB48 celebrated its 15th anniversary last year. For the past year, the group has entered every month into a cooperation with well-known brand manufacturers. The cooperation partner for April 2021 is the well-known Sanrio character HELLO KITTY. HELLO KITTY will appear in the well-known AKB48 costumes, Everyday, Kachuusha, Gingham Check, Heavy Rotation, Ponytail to Shushu, Iiwake Maybe, Koisuru Fortune Cookie and 11gatsu no Anklet. Furthermore, AKB48 will be at the Sanrio Chara Collaboration Fes. from 1 to 12 April 2021 at the Shinjuku Marui Annex. The seven HELLO KITTY versions will be available for purchase as plushes, acrylic pendants, pocket ink and many more at the AKB48 online store beginning 1 April 2021.
