Tokyo Idol Festival cancels 1st Day

The Tokyo Idol Festival 2021 will have to give way to a regular threat other than the Covid-19 virus this year. The Japanese Meteorological Service has announced that Typhoon No. 16 has set course for Tokyo and citizens should stay home if possible. The management of the Tokyo Idol Festival has therefore decided to cancel the first day of the festival. This also affects the appearance of the following Idol groups: Sakurazaka46, NGT48, NMB48, Last Idol, 22/7. The appearances of the remaining ’48 groups, the two Sasshi groups and the newly added groups Nogizaka46 and Hinatazaka46 on the remaining two days is not affected.
