After 4285 days, final curtain for Iriyama Anna
#AKB48, #入山杏奈 – On 16 March 2022, 4285 days after her debut as an AKB48 member, the curtain rose for the last time at the AKB48 Theater for AKB48 Team A member Iriyama Anna. For her graduation performance, many Team A members but also friends from other teams performed with her. Also some former AKB48 members like Kato Rena, Kizaki Yuria and especially Kawaei Rina, who like Iriyama Anna was a victim of that attack by a fan in May 2014. CGM48 member and manager Izuta Rina flew in from Thailand as a surprise guest.Among Spanish-speaking fans, Iriyama Anna became known especially for her stay abroad in Mexico, where she starred in the telenovela “Like, la leyenda.”
During her graduation speech, she recalled the attack during the handshake event and how lonely she felt afterwards. She thanked the fans and members who always stood by her side. After her graduation, she said she wants to continue working in show business, not only in Japan but also in Mexico. From April, she will appear on NHK Radio 2’s “Mayday Spanish” program.
