AKB48 creates SURREAL sub-unit with virtual Theater

#AKB48 – Japanese idol group AKB48 has formed the AKB48 subgroup SURREAL for the NTT Docomo XR World event. The group consists of five AKB48 members and virtual member SURRY. Furthermore, the groups will perform their song “Wagamama Metaverse” the theme song of the XR World Event in their virtual AKB48 SURREAL Theater on 5 October 2022. The song will also appear on AKB48’s upcoming 60th single “Hisashiburi no Lip Gloss.”
