Manga and Live-Action for "Idol Disqualification" released

#NMB48, #安部若菜 – The novella “Idol Shikkaku” (Idol Disqualification) by NMB48 member Abe Wakana was published in January 2024 as a manga series and live-action drama. The manga adaptation of “Idol Shikkaku” will be published in the Japanese manga magazine “Comptiq” starting with the February 2024 issue ( 10 January 2024). The 12-part live-action drama has been airing on BS Shochiku Tokyu since 13 January 2024, starring Yamamoto Mikana as Onodera Mimka. The novel is about a romance between a hardcore otaku and the center of an underground idol group. The book was published on 18 November 2022.
