First Photobook from Kosaka Nao starts with 150,000 Copies
#日向坂46 – Japanese publisher Shueisha has announced the initial print run of Hinatazaka46 member Kosaka Nao’s first photobook “Kimi wa Dare?” at 150,000 copies. For the publisher and the Sakamichi46 series, this size of a first print run for a photobook is a new historical record. Immediately after the book’s announcement, online bookstores were flooded with pre-orders. The official Twitter account exceeded 150,000 followers and the Instagram account 100,000 followers. The great popularity is due to her activities for the magazine “Seventeen”, for which Kosaka Nao works exclusively as a model. The editor-in-chief of “Seventeen”, who has served as editor-in-chief of “non-no” and “Meisei”, expressed her surprise and delight, as this large initial circulation is also a first for her. The photobook shows the transition from high school student Kosaka Nao to adult. Renowned photographer Fujiwara Hiroshi was responsible for capturing her natural charm on picture. The book will be released on 29 June 2021.
